EVDense contacted us and had a system set up to allow users a way to submit journal entries and photos through a web browser. They were recording these entries in a database that timestamped the submissions on entry. They approached us looking for a mobile solution for the iPhone. This solution would require a way to allow users the ability to collect and deploy gathered information while on the go.
solution
We crafted a wireless solution for the iPhone. This solution allowed users to not only support journal entries and photos submitted from their phone, but also allowed for the gathering of the images from the built in camera and recorded audio from the built in microphone. We added additional data integrity by applying GPS coordinates to each entry as well as timestamping to the date and time of data collection. The entries are then secured through an authenticated SSL connection to the users account for retrieval and use at a later time.
